The competition, made possible by the Government of Canada's Aerospace Regional Recovery Initiative (ARRI) through the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario), attracted a multitude of forward-thinking project proposals. A panel of judges, comprising experts from investment, startup, aviation, and academia, evaluated submissions based on criteria such as innovation, market potential, and sustainability impacts.
Palitronica's solution, which impressed the judges with its physics-based approach in detecting counterfeit techniques and mitigating risks associated with counterfeit, tampered, recycled, or back-doored parts, was recognized for it’s ability to be a game-changing innovation that propels air transportation towards a more sustainable future. This recognition reflects Palitronica's commitment to addressing critical cybersecurity challenges within the aerospace and defence supply chain.
As we accept this honour, we extend our gratitude to WISA for recognizing the potential impact of Palitronica's approach.

As we move forward, Palitronica remains committed to contributing to the advancement of sustainable practices in our industry. The WISA Sustainable Future Competition serves as both validation and encouragement for us to continue our mission of addressing critical challenges and driving innovation within the aerospace domain. We look forward to making meaningful strides in collaboration with WISA, the aerospace industry and our esteemed peers.
