Palitronica Deepens Executive Bench with Proven Growth Strategy Veterans and Industry-recognized Trailblazers

New alignment, strategic vision, and executive thought leadership prepare Palitronica for the next phase of market expansion based on paradigm-shifting technical innovations

[Waterloo, Ontario, August 17 2026] — Palitronica Inc., the Canadian innovator in physics-based hardware and cybersecurity and quality assurance for safety-critical manufacturing and defense infrastructure, today announced the appointment of a new chief executive officer, along with a bench of experienced leaders, aligned across all functions of the organization. These changes follow milestone growth as the company positions for the next phase of market expansion and technical innovation.

Co-founder and current chief executive officer, Sebastian Fischmeister, will transition to a new role as chief strategy officer. In this innovation focused role, Dr. Fischmeister will expand an academic incubation program in related physics and artificial intelligence building blocks while continuing his alliance work across government agencies, defense contractors, and global manufacturing organizations.

Matthew Monteyne, pivoting from Palitronica’s chief operating officer, immediately assumes the role of chief executive officer. Mr. Monteyne brings a pedigree of transitional growth from early-stage start-up to strategic exits. He has formerly worked with BlackBerry, RideCo (on-demand transit technology and services), and was instrumental in the acquisition of RapidMind by Intel Corporation (NASDAQ: INTC).

Fellow Palitronica incumbent, Eric Ritter, formerly vice president of customer experience and success, will elevate his portfolio to chief operating officer, overseeing customer success, production and deployment operations, and corporate administrative functions. Mr. Ritter brings a wealth of proven operational experience with BlackBerry, Teledyne FLIR (formally Aeryon), and cybersecurity firm, eSentire.

Joining Palitronica’s executive team is Mark Sangster, as chief marketing and trust officer, after a year of consulting and advisory work with the organization. Mr. Sangster is a recognized author and thought leader in cybersecurity and industry compliance, as well as strategic marketing, from leadership roles at eSentire and Washington D.C. based cybersecurity firm Adlumin, while shaping regulatory standards and compliance across critical economic and government sectors.

Co-founder, Carlos Moreno, remains chief scientist, while Hany Kashif continues his successful tenure as director of engineering, overseeing product development.
